  Bit down at heel but a good pint and friendly service. Avoid quiz night unless you want to take part - great fun but a bit difficult having a conversation.

  good food good service good price all to like. Offers tap room and lounge bars. Plus a lovely beer garden at the back. Friendly helpful locals ...it's NOT a clan only type local pub. Travelors Tourists Stranger or Friend is welcome. Pool and darts in tap. Good selection of drinks and ales. Child friendly. Menu is British traditional food at good prices a lovely meal out. Plus...
  The marvellous thing is what's to do nearby as well,.for a whole day or weekend even. The walks and sights here are all within a few mins drive of the pub. Beautiful views and scenery plus watersports centre on the lake a stroll away on foot. Come in and ask what's on nearby- over an ale.
  Friends will be made here...because....YOULL BE BACK !
